President Diane Ong
Diane Ong (she/her/hers) is a junior from Winston Salem, North Carolina. She is majoring in History with a minor in Conflict Management. Diane previously served as our Outreach and Programming Director. Last year, she participated in the Organizing Corps in Raleigh. Diane currently works as a Paul and Sheila Wellstone Organizing Fellow through the Orange County Democratic Party and is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.
Diane’s favorite policy areas are women’s healthcare, reproductive rights, climate change, and education policy.
Vice President Jocelyn Feaster
Jocelyn (she/her) is a Junior from Louisiana. She is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Health and Society. Jocelyn previously served as our Membership & Events Director and Communications Director.
She is a member of the UNC Executive Branch Service Committee and previously worked as a campus representative for Pink. Last year, Jocelyn worked as an intern for the Orange County Democratic Party through their County-to-County program and as an Environmental Law Research Intern with Professor Don Hornstein.
Jocelyn’s favorite policy areas are healthcare and paid family leave
Secretary Megan Wagner
Megan Wagner is a Junior from Southern Pines, NC. She is majoring in Political Science and Communication Studies with a concentration in Media Studies. She is minoring in Women and Gender Studies.
Megan previously served as a Social Justice Advocate and Resident Advisor for the Ehringhaus Community Government from. Megan is also a member of the Publicity and Voter Registration Committees of March For Our Lives. She is currently serving as a UNC precinct co-chair with the Orange County Democratic Party. This past fall, she worked as a social media intern with N.C. House Representative Verla Insko.
Megan’s favorite policy areas are K-12 public education, criminal justice reform,
Treasurer Becca Lewis
Becca Lewis (she/her) is a first-year student from Cary, North Carolina. She is majoring in neuroscience. Before joining UNC YD, Becca was the President of the Cary High School Young Democrats Club and volunteered on the Allison Dahle for NC House campaign. Becca is also a member of the UNC Women’s Rowing Team and previously served as our Vice-Chair for Civic Engagement.
Becca’s favorite policy issues are climate change and tax reform.
